Luncheon Slide Show. The 2007 Challenge quilts were displayed and
voted on at our December Holiday Luncheon. We also inducted the
2008 officers, presented farewell gifts to the out-going president,
announced the top three Challenge winners, had a show and tell
of the Challenge quilts and an ornament exchange. The 2007 Challenge

Meeting Slide Show. The August Program
featured representatives from VIP/Cranston Fabric Group and we
had an active Show and Tell session after our meeting. I was
vacationing in Vienna and Budapest at the time of the meeting
and was unable to take photos; but our historian, Jean Hensley,
has generously provided me with the photos she took at the meeting.

July 2007 Meeting - Christmas In July. Featured demonstrations
included Santa Claus ornaments, fabric bowls, tote bags, sewing
bags and kits. Patterns for these exhibits were provided at the

Meeting Slide Show. Our March Program
was presented by LQG Member Joyce Noell. She was assisted by
Sue Dixon, Geri Grindle, and Mary Johnson. The program demonstrated
how to print and use photos from the computer to make a quilt.
The Quilter of the Month was Anne Ochs and the featured Bee was
the Buzzin Bees. Before the program, the 2006 Quilt in a Year
projects were displayed and ribbons were presented to the top

quilts made by members of her family. The quilts date from 1850
to 1950. The slide show honors just a few of the many beautiful
