Our 2012 Quilt Show "QUILTING... The Thread of Life" was held on April 13 & 14 at Trinity Ecumenical Parish. View a slideshow of the Quilt Show.

2012 Quilt Show Committee

Quilt Show 2010

The 2010 Quilt Show, "Our Quilted Treasures," was held March 26-27 at Trinity Ecumenical Parish. The quilt show co-chairs were Joyce Moorman and Joyce Noell. A total of 160 quilts and 18 wearables were entered in the show and there were two "Bee" rooms full of quilts on display. The show drew 402 paying guests. Guild members who worked at the show attended the show for free.

Quilt Show 2008

Our 2008 Quilt Show "The Art of Quilting" was held at Trinity Ecumenical Parish, Moneta, April 4-5, 2008. Over 200 quilts and wearables were displayed. Special displays included antique chatelaines, quilted items made by our quilting bees and charity items made by guild members. The show drew 492 visitors.

The Grand Door Prize was the Jamestown 400th Anniversary Quilt made by our 2007 Quilt-in-a-Year instructors. Michelle Smith of Vinton won the drawing. View the quilt.

Quilt Show 2006

The 2006 Quilt Show, "FOR THE LOVE OF QUILTING," was held at Trinity Ecumenical Parish, Moneta, Virginia, March 24-25. Almost 200 quilted items were on display. The show also offered free demonstrations, hourly door prizes, and a quilt raffle. Click on the links below to see a sampling of photos of the event.

Winners of the Viewer's Choice Awards

Sandra Ferguson reports that 685 people attended the quilt show and over 120 members participated in some way. Many favorable comments were heard were heard from the visitors, and an added bonus to the excellent attendance was that the Hospitality Committee from Trinity Parish made enough money selling lunches to purchase the freezer they've been wanting.
